‘Sea-Fever’ is presented by The Auction Collective and will showcase 50 sea-inspired artworks from 27 contemporary artists. The exhibition is inspired by John Masefield’s 1902 poem of the same name (see the full poem here) and includes photographs, paintings, prints, collages and sculptures, all celebrating how the water around our island continues to stimulate artists working today.
I have two pieces going into the auction:
Lot 35: ‘Rain on Water’ – 120cm x 90cm – Acrylic Ink on Canvas – Estimate £1,400 – £2,400
Lot 40: ‘Portheras Cove #2’ – 43cm x 33cm – Acrylic Ink on Canvas – Estimate £350 – £550
