This month’s Spring Auction held by The Auction Collective will now be a virtual one due to the curent Corona Pandemic: For crucial health and safety reasons it will be live streamed by video link.
Collectors will be able to bid over the phone and via absentee bidding at theauctioncollective.com, whilst viewing the auction online at Invalubale.com where they can also ‘click to bid’ in real-time.
The show has been curated by The Auction Collective and will include approx 80 works of art including paintings, prints and sculpture.
I am fortunate to have two works in the show ‘Summer Fruits’and ‘Heat #1’ both sunny and colurful paintings made by me last summer using acrylic ink on canvas. These paintings draw from memories made in Nice, South of France last Spring. Both works are highly influenced by the paintings of Henri Matisse, one of my most favourite painters and someone for whom colour is everything. I hope the warmth is palpable, this was my aim with both these works.
