I’ll be exhibiting one of my paintings in an Exhibition titled ‘Reflections’, on at the Studio Upstairs Gallery in Berkhamsted. The Exhibition examines artists responses to the theme  – in various media and with very different interpretations of that subject.

My work titled ‘St. Ives’, a piece i made after visiting St. Ives in Cornwall a few summers ago, was a respose to the lasting memories i had of the colours and the light in the landscape that i absorbed during those very happy few weeks. The paintings i made after i returned home, reflected those memories of intense colour and particularly of cliff top walks with bright red lillies over looking an aquamarine sea.
