blocks – mixed media on canvas

Part of the Cornwall Series i made this summer using photographs of boat yards in Falmouth. This one references wood blocks in boat yards used for storing up the boats.

It’s mixed media on canvas, starting with acrylic paint and building up layers of oil-pastel and paint on top of that. It measures 30″ x 24″ and is float framed in oak. Now available to buy online at my Shop.
