New paintings will go on display at Pretty Like Pictures in Thame, Oxfordshire this month and will be up throughout Autumn.

The work chosen by the Gallery is from my Artists Residency at Brisons Veor this summer. I spent a week living and working on Cape Cornwall surrounded by the roar of the sea and amazing views over Priests Cove and beyond to Sennen Cove. It was a brilliantly sunny week so i was able to do lots of walking along the cliff tops taking photographs, sketching and gathering mind food for when i got back to my studio. The coastline was truly inspiring in many ways but i particularly fell in love with some of the rocks i found along my travels. They looked so altered in differing weather conditions and in the changing light at different times of day.

The results are on show at the Gallery in Thame until the end of Autumn.
