I thought i’d show you some of the photographs and  images i’ve collected over the last few months. I’ve documented the time i have spent in cornwall, looking at horizons, the sea and land. These pictures though are mainly taken in boat yards – close ups of wood and metal. The colours and shapes  have definitely informed my recent paintings, be it intentionally or unintentionally, emphasing recurring horizontal and vertical lines.
